Terms and Conditions Agreement for Telehealth Services

Welcome to BioHack Clinic Telehealth Services

Before scheduling and participating in a telehealth appointment with BioHack Clinic, please carefully review and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. By scheduling an appointment and using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not proceed with scheduling or using our services.

1. Telehealth Services

BioHack Clinic offers online video medical consultations that allow patients to access healthcare services remotely. Through secure video conferencing, patients can consult with healthcare providers from the convenience of their home or any private location, using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. These services are aimed at providing medical advice, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care for conditions that can be managed without an in-person visit.

BioHack Clinic’s telehealth services cover areas including family medicine, biohacking, anti-aging treatments, preventive care, and more.

2. Eligibility for Services

You must be at least 18 years old to use our telehealth services. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent and participate in the telehealth consultation.

You must be located within Lebanon or in a jurisdiction where telehealth consultations from Lebanese healthcare providers are legally permitted.

3. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health, medical history, and medications during consultations.

You will ensure that you are in a private and secure environment for your telehealth appointment to maintain confidentiality.

You are responsible for ensuring a reliable internet connection during the telehealth session.

4. Privacy and Security

All telehealth consultations are conducted over encrypted, secure communication platforms in compliance with Lebanese data protection laws and international healthcare privacy standards (such as HIPAA where applicable).

Your personal health information will be stored and handled in accordance with Lebanese Law No. 81 (Electronic Transactions and Personal Data Law), which governs the protection of personal data.
By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Limitations of Telehealth

Telehealth consultations are not a substitute for in-person medical care in cases of emergency or complex conditions that require physical examination.
If the healthcare provider determines that an in-person visit is necessary for proper diagnosis or treatment, you will be advised accordingly.

BioHack Clinic is not responsible for any delays or failures in treatment due to technical issues, such as poor internet connection or interruptions in communication.

6. Emergency Care

Telehealth services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call [Lebanese Emergency Number: 140 (Red Cross) or 112 (General Emergency)] or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
BioHack Clinic does not provide emergency care through telehealth services.

7. Payment and Cancellation

You agree to pay for services rendered through BioHack Clinic in accordance with the pricing listed at the time of scheduling.
Payment must be made before the telehealth consultation begins. BioHack Clinic reserves the right to cancel or postpone consultations for non-payment.
Cancellations made less than [insert hours, e.g., 24 hours] before the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

BioHack Clinic reserves the right to cancel appointments at its discretion and will notify patients promptly in such cases.

8. Consent to Treatment

By scheduling and attending a telehealth appointment, you consent to receive treatment via telehealth technologies. You understand that the healthcare provider may not be physically present with you and that there are inherent risks to telehealth, including potential privacy breaches or miscommunications.

You also understand that certain conditions or symptoms may require a physical examination that cannot be adequately provided through telehealth.

9. Liability Disclaimer

BioHack Clinic and its healthcare providers make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy or effectiveness of telehealth services.

To the fullest extent permitted by Lebanese law, BioHack Clinic disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of telehealth services, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided during telehealth consultations, including but not limited to medical advice, documentation, and educational materials, remain the intellectual property of BioHack Clinic. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes arising from your use of telehealth services shall be resolved in accordance with these laws.

In the event of a dispute, you agree to attempt mediation or alternative dispute resolution before pursuing legal action.

12. Amendments to Terms

BioHack Clinic reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to patients in advance of their next scheduled appointment.

Continued use of telehealth services after amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
